Motorsport is something I enjoy watching and also photographing. I’m happy to say that Barbados has a robust annual calendar in the sport and also attracts many international competitors.
If this is something you haven’t yet tried, It is well worth it in particular it builds a particular photographic skill called panning that you’ll need to master to photograph any moving subject and not show them frozen in time. Panning enables you to maintain an element of movement in your photographs which adds to their overall appreciation. Here is a good panning primer I published on FYP. While you not be an avid motorsport fan like I am at some point you are likely to have to shoot children or some other moving subject and you’ll be happy to have the skill then.
