Last Wednesday night the Barbados team played a the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club at Kensington Oval in Barbados. I captured quite a few images that I’m going to make an extended post from on April 3rd, 2012, but I wanted to share a few images with cricket lovers right away. Here is the match report, congratulations are in order for the Outlaws.

Sylights looks like an interesting app for those who want to document and share their lighting set-ups.
One of my specialities is travelling and shooting, in my travels to many cities I find it much easier to use a hotel room as a studio than to find a studio in a strange city. If you pick your hotel carefully you’ll already have a backdrop (the wall to wall curtain at the back of the room), light stands the TV’s cabinet makes a perfect place to set up 2 reflectors and put a RC flash inside for a softbox (wedge them between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling, you’ll need large reflectors).
